What is the difference between all of the techniques used to make shirts?
Heat transfer vinyl- Great on light and dark garments. Best for simple solid designs, and special effects such as glitter, reflective, holographic or glow in the dark!
Sublimation- This process is best on a high polyester count and light colored garments (white is best). Great for detailed pictures and portraits. With this process, a transfer is printed and pressed at high heat. The ink becomes a gas and permanently fuses to the polyester fabric. It doesn’t fade and has no added texture or the garment.
Laser Heat transfers- Great for light or Dark garments. These transfers work best for tiny details or a rasterized (vintage) designs.
Direct to Garment - Printer prints design directly on clothing, bags, shoes. You name it! Want a jean Jacket with matching converse? Let us know and we'll make it happen!
